Abstract

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a portable muscle therapy device that can be used for physical therapy, fitness and exercise by creating compression on joints / muscles while performing athletic training (exercise) for mobility recovery and pain relief. The muscle therapy device can include an elongated shaft comprised of detachable segments that allow a user to change the length of the elongated shaft and convert the elongated shaft into a separate rod. For example, two bars could be formed, one for each hand of the user, and elastic bands could be attached to each bar. Additionally, the muscle therapy device of the present disclosure provides for attaching a handle to one end of an elongated shaft to simulate canoeing and stand-up paddle motion for back, core, and shoulder exercises.
