Embodiment Construction

[0050] In order to make the object, technical solution and advantages of the present invention more clear, the present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the examples. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described here are only used to explain the present invention, not to limit the present invention.

[0051] Soil moisture content estimation methods include remote sensing methods and field measurement methods. Field measurement methods have high accuracy but are spatially discontinuous and costly, and are difficult to apply to large-area soil moisture measurement. Compared with the field measurement method based on ground points, satellite remote sensing technology can retrieve the soil moisture content on a large spatial scale, and has produced a wide range of commercial global soil moisture content products, these products are mainly based on passive microwave products . However, passive microwave products have poor sp...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for assessment of soil moisture in a corn planting area based on an improved MODIS index. The method comprises 1) preprocessing collected MODIS remote sensing data, 2)calculating a remote sensing index, 3) partitioning vegetation coverage degrees, 4) according to the thresholds of low and medium-high vegetation coverage areas of bare soil, constructing an improvedMODIS index, and 5) constructing a soil water content estimation model. Compared with the passive microwave method, the method has better spatial resolution. Compared with the active microwave method, the method has higher temporal resolution. Through striking an average of the temporal and spatial resolution of the active and passive microwave method, the method for assessment of moisture content of surface soil has good temporal and spatial resolution.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a remote sensing image soil moisture estimation technology, in particular to a method for evaluating soil moisture in a corn planting area based on an improved MODIS index. Background technique [0002] Corn is one of the most important food and agricultural economic crops in my country, and it is an important guarantee for national food security. At the same time, corn has become the second largest food crop in the world, which is of great significance to global food security. However, the growth of maize requires suitable conditions, especially soil moisture content throughout its growth cycle. Therefore, soil moisture content is an important predictor of corn growth status. Soil moisture content can be estimated by a variety of methods. For example, site measurements, satellite remote sensing measurements, soil water balance models, etc. However, it is difficult to accurately estimate soil water content with good temporal...
