The overall average soil moisture of the target area is calibrated by using the measured soil moisture of each single point, so that the measurement precision of the overall average soil moisture of the target area is ensured, and the vertical resolution of the overall average soil moisture of the target area is improved; interpolation processing is carried out on soil moisture data of each depth layer measured at each single point of a target area to obtain soil moisture of each depth layer of the target area, and weighted fusion is carried out on the calibrated overall average soil moisture of the target area and the soil moisture of each depth layer of the target area obtained through interpolation processing to obtain the soil moisture of each depth layer of the target area. The soil moisture of the target area obtained through fusion integrates the advantages of single-point measurement and regional measurement, high-precision and high-resolution regional soil moisture measurement is achieved, and the regional layered moisture monitoring precision is improved.
