Abstract

The system comprises a six-degree-of-freedom motion simulation platform, a mooring support, a mooring leg, a mooring arm, a ballasttank and a single point platform. The six-degree-of-freedom motion simulation platform simulates the motion attitude of a hull in a waterless environment and produces coupling motion. The mooring support transmits the hull motion of the six-degree-of-freedom motion simulation platform to a soft steel arm mooring system. The lower end of the mooring leg is connected to the mooring arm, and the upper end is connected to the mooring support. The mooring arm is a rigid A-shaped framework, and the ballast tank at a transverse support portion provides a restoring force so as to achieve a damping effect.
