Problems solved by technology

[0003] At present, the energy detection method has been widely used in the spectrum sensing of cognitive radio. However, the traditional energy detection spectrum sensing method needs to know the noise power itself, but the noise power itself is often unknown in practice. When the noise power itself is unknown , the traditional energy detection spectrum sensing method uses an artificially set upper bound of the noise power to replace the noise power itself, which will cause the problem of noise power uncertainty, which will seriously degrade the performance of spectrum sensing

Embodiment Construction

[0017] The present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and embodiments.

[0018] An energy detection spectrum sensing method for estimating noise power during the silent period of authorized users proposed by the present invention, its overall flow chart is as follows figure 1 As shown, the processing process is as follows: estimate the noise power during the silent period of the authorized user; in the current sensing time slot, the signal from one channel is sampled multiple times, and one sample is obtained for each sampling; then according to all samples Calculate the energy; then calculate the test statistics according to the energy and noise power; finally, determine whether there is an authorized user signal in the current sensing time slot by comparing the test statistics with the judgment threshold.

Abstract

The invention discloses an energy detection spectrum sensing method for estimating a noise power during a silent period of an authorized user. The method comprises: estimation is carried out during asilent period of an authorized user to obtain a noise power; during a current sensing time slot, multi-times sampling is carried out on signals from one channel and one sample is obtained for each sampling; energy is calculated based on all samples; according to the energy and the noise power, a checking statistic amount is calculated; and then the checking statistic amount is compared with a decision threshold to determine whether an authorized user signal exists in the current sensing time slot. The energy detection spectrum sensing method has the advantages: noise power estimation is carried out by using the sampled samples during the silent period of the authorized user; because no authorized user signal exists during the silent period of the authorized user, the noise power can be estimated accurately; while the checking statistic amount is calculated, the good sensing performance is obtained by using the energy of the sampling signals in the current sensing time slot and the estimated noise power.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a cognitive radio spectrum sensing technology, in particular to an energy detection spectrum sensing method for estimating noise power during a silent period of authorized users. Background technique [0002] The rapid development of diversified mobile communication services has greatly enriched and facilitated people's work and life. However, correspondingly, the number of wireless devices and the demand for mobile data traffic have exploded, which has led to a shortage of spectrum resources. In recent years, the problem of shortage of spectrum resources has gradually emerged, and it will become more serious in the foreseeable future. However, this is not caused by insufficient physical spectrum resources, but because the existing fixed spectrum allocation strategy makes many spectrum resources unable to be fully utilized, which greatly reduces spectrum utilization. Therefore, improving spectrum utilization becomes the key to...
