The present invention discloses the detection and switching method of channels. The method includes two steps; firstly, in the
silent period of a
system, a
base station detects a channel waiting for being detected; secondly, when the channel waiting for being detected is determined to be idle, the operation of the
base station is switched to the channel waiting for being detected. The present invention also discloses the
base station and the detection and switching
system of channels, and wherein, the base
station of the
system includes a channel detection module and a channel switching module; the channel detection module is used to detect the channel waiting for being detected in the
silent period of the system, when the channel waiting for being detected is determined to be idle, the channel detection module sends a channel switching instruction carrying the identifier information of the channel waiting for being detected to the channel switching module; after the channel switching module receives the channel switching instruction, according to the
channel identifier information carried by the instruction, the base
station is switched to the
idle channel waiting for being detected. By utilizing the detection and switching method of channels, the base
station and the system which are provided by the present invention, the base station can be switched to the
idle channel in the process of operation after accessing a network, thus increasing the
utilization rate of system resources.
