Abstract

The invention discloses application of cedrol and a medicinal derivative of the cedrol to preparation of eimeria tenella resistant drugs. A powder prepared from the cedrol and acceptable ingredients or a cedrol water soluble powder is added into feed, and breeding of eimeria tenella in chicken bodies is effectively resisted; and an animal infection experiment verifies that the anticoccidial index(ACI) of the cedrol can reach 173 or above, and thus the cedrol has a good effect of resisting to the eimeria tenella. The cedrol is easy to prepare and low in extracting cost, the low-cost eimeria tenella resistant drugs or feed additives can be prepared, and thus the cedrol has an important significance for sound development of the breeding industry.
