The invention discloses application of suramin sodium in preparing an anticoccidial drug. The suramin sodium, which is uniformly mixed with acceptable adjuvants, is added to feed, so as to effectively resist the breeding of eimeria tenella in chicken bodies. Compared with a conventional anticoccidial drug dinitolmide premix, the anticoccidial drug is significant in anticoccidial effect. The invention can effectively relieve the problem of serious drug tolerance which is generated due to the use of anticoccidial drugs in current breeding industry; and on the basis, the speed of researching and developing new drugs is accelerated, so that the suramin sodium has an important advantage for the green and healthy development of the breeding industry.
