Abstract

The invention discloses genistein and an application of a medicinal derivative thereof in preparation of a medicine for resisting eimeria tenella. The genistein, after being uniformly mixed with an acceptable auxiliary material and added into a feed, can effectively resist the propagation of eimeria tenella in a chicken body. Compared with a conventional anti-coccidial drug namely dinitolmide premix, the anti-coccidial effect of the genistein is obvious. The genistein disclosed by the invention can effectively relieve the problem of serious drug tolerance generated by a current anti-coccidial drug used by the breeding industry, thereby accelerating research and development of a new medicine on the basis, and having important benefits for green and healthy development of the breeding industry.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a new application of genistein, in particular to the application of genistein in resisting Eimeria tenella. Background technique [0002] Chicken coccidiosis (Coccidiosis) is a disease caused by one or several coccidium of Eimeria (Eimeria) parasitizing in chicken intestinal mucosa cells simultaneously or successively. Coccidiosis occurs wherever chickens are raised in the world, and large-scale chicken farms are the most suitable places for chicken coccidiosis to occur, and outbreaks of the disease often occur. According to statistics, among the chicken coccidia reported in the world, 5 species have obvious pathogenicity, they are: E. tenella, E. necatrix, E. maxima, E. acervulina, and E. mitis. One of the most harmful is E.tenella. Chicks and young chickens are susceptible to coccidiosis, and the morbidity and mortality rates are as high as 80%. The growth of recovered chicks is hindered and the weight gain is slow; adult ...
