Abstract

The invention provides a method and system for evaluating the quality of shot record collection. The method comprises the steps that 1) the information of a reflection layer is picked up on a seismicsuperimposed section, wherein reflection points included in the reflection layer form reflection layer mapping points; 2) a corresponding path in shot records is determined based on common center points of the reflection layer mapping points, and a time-distance curve is generated; and 3) the trend of the surrounding layer picking up the reflection points on the seismic superimposed section and the time-distance curve generated in the step 2) are combined to determine whether the shot records are qualified or geological waste. According to the invention, based on the seismic superposition section, the distribution of the time-distance curve on a shot set is analyzed, and the superimposed section and the shot records are organically combined for comparative analysis to check the reflected wave condition of a target layer; the shot record collection quality is comprehensively analyzed; and an effective and objective method for determining field data to be qualified or geological waste isprovided.
