Abstract

The invention provides a satellite image ship detection method combining a rotating frame and context information. The satellite image ship detection method comprises the following steps: firstly, expanding a training data set by adopting color transformation, scale transformation and angle transformation; carrying out feature extraction by using a dense connection convolutional neural network, sothat a feature map with strong semantic information and accurate position information can be obtained; generating a series of multi-scale, multi-aspect-ratio and multi-angle candidate bounding boxeson the feature map by utilizing a rotation area candidate network; and finally, extracting candidate boundary frame context composite features by using a multi-region full connection network for shipdetection. Compared with a conventional ship detection method, the method has the advantages that higher detection precision can be obtained from the aspects of data preprocessing, feature extraction,candidate boundary frame generation, detectors and the like.
