In the tensioner, the damping assembly is arranged and can intervene with the pivot at different amounts in the different rotation states of the swing arm, specifically, when the swing arm rotates in the reverse direction, the intervene amount is gradually increased, and thus the swing arm is restrained from continuing rotating; otherwise, whenthe swing arm rotates forwards, the intervene amount is gradually decreased, and thus the swing arm can return rapidly and enough rotation response capacity is obtained.
