Abstract

The invention discloses an OBD system-based vehicle data collector and a collecting method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of vehicle-mounted systems. The vehicle data collector comprisesan OBD data collector, and further comprises an MCU driving module, a main scheduling module, a real-time information acquisition module, a communication protocol analysis module, a communication module, a data buffering module and a communication module management module; the MCU driving module is used for providing an operation environment for each module; the main scheduling module is used formonitoring the running condition of each module, issuing a control instruction and coordinating the working states of all the modules; and the real-time information acquisition module is used for controlling the OBD data collector to collect real-time vehicle information of the vehicle, and providing the running state information such as a vehicle bus state, a dormant application and the like to the main scheduling module. According to an OBD-II application layer protocol, the collected vehicle data frames are analyzed, so that the vehicle state data acquisition keeps high efficiency and accuracy under different vehicle platforms.
