A catheter (1; 41) serves for use with an injection apparatus, preferably for rectal irrigation. The catheter (1; 43) has a main body ((11) comprising a funnel-shaped part (2; 42) delimited by an annular funnel wall (2a), which annular funnel wall (2a) tapers into an elongate tubular catheter part (3; 43) delimited by an annular catheter wall (3a; 43a).
