Abstract

The invention discloses a novel rapid pigeon collecting system and a pigeon collecting method adopting the pigeon collecting system, and relates to the field of carrier pigeon competitive equipment. The pigeon collecting system comprises a UHF RFID tag arranged on a carrier pigeon foot ring; a UHF (Ultra High Frequency) RFID (Radio Frequency Identification Device) reader; a plurality of reader antennas which are arranged in an array and are connected with the UHF RFID reader; and an computer operation terminal which is in communication connection with the UHF RFID reader. The pigeon collectingmethod comprises the steps of placing pigeon cages containing carrier pigeons in the coverage range of the reader antennas; controlling the plurality of reader antennas to radiate electromagnetic waves to the pigeon house, and communicating with the UHF RFID tag of the carrier pigeon foot ring to obtain tag data; and performing duplicate removal processing to filter repeatedly read tag data, thereby obtaining a carrier pigeon ID list. The electronic tags of the whole cage of carrier pigeons can be recognized and read without omission without manual auxiliary counting, and the method has the advantages of being high in pigeon collecting speed, free of worry about carrier pigeons, capable of preventing cheating and the like.
