The air conditioner defrosting control method comprises the steps that whether the frosting degree of an outdoor heat exchanger is a first frosting degree or a second frosting degree is judged under the condition that the air conditioner operates in a heating mode and when the air conditioner meets a defrosting condition; the thickness of a frost layer of the first frosting degree is smaller than that of the frost layer of the second frosting degree; if it is judged that the frosting degree of the outdoor heat exchanger is the first frosting degree, the air conditioner is controlled to perform defrosting in a first defrosting mode, and if it is judged that the frosting degree of the outdoor heat exchanger is the second frosting degree, the air conditioner is controlled to perform defrosting in a second defrosting mode; and the first defrosting mode and the second defrosting mode are four-way valve non-reversing defrosting, and the air conditioner is kept in a heating state during defrosting.
