Abstract

The invention provides a method for selecting an influence index by using an automation mechanism and an electronic device. The method includes the following steps: obtaining original data, wherein the original data comprises a body-related variable and a plurality of indexes to be detected corresponding to the body-related variable; setting the body-related variables as target parameters; inputting the body-related variables and the to-be-tested indexes into a plurality of model verifications, and sorting the to-be-tested indexes according to output results of the model verifications to obtain ranking data; calculating the importance of the to-be-tested indexes according to the ranking data by using the screening condition so as to select candidate indexes from the to-be-tested indexes; and finally, calculating the correlation between the candidate index and the body-related variable to determine the influence index.
