Abstract

The invention discloses a river water reduction and dehydration identification method and system. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring remote sensing image data in a covered river channel in different periods, wherein the different periods comprise a dry season and a wet season; calculating an MNDWI synthesis index based on the remote sensing image data in different periods; extracting water body information in different periods according to the MNDWI synthesis index, and determining water body areas in different periods based on the water body information in different periods; obtaining a relation curve of the river flow and the water body area; determining the river flow in different periods based on the relation curve and the water body areas in different periods; and recognizing the water reduction and dehydration of the river channel based on the river channel flow in different periods. According to the method, remote sensing image data covering a riverway is collected and preprocessed, MNDWI in the dry season and the wet season is generated, river water body information in the dry season and the wet season is effectively and efficiently extracted, water reduction and dehydration analysis is conducted on the target riverway, the ecological flow satisfaction degree of the target riverway is determined, and the method is used for supervising and managing the ecological flow.
