Abstract

The invention provides application of linseed oil in preparation of a medicine for improving intestinal flora of atherosclerosis, and belongs to the technical field of biological medicine. The linseed oil has the effect of regulating intestinal flora of atherosclerosis. Mouse animal model tests show that the linseed oil can change intestinal flora of atherosclerosis and change the short-chain fatty acid level of metabolites of the intestinal flora and the bile acid level of metabolites of the intestinal flora, and meanwhile, atherosclerosis is relieved, which indicates that the linseed oil can improve the atherosclerosis by adjusting the intestinal flora. Therefore, the linseed oil can be used for preparing the medicine for improving the intestinal flora of the atherosclerosis so as to relieve the development of the course of the atherosclerosis.
