Embodiment Construction

[0061] figure 1 A first embodiment of the system 1 according to the invention is shown in a schematic cross-section. exist figure 1 On the left side of , the system 1 is shown in section along the longitudinal direction of the system. exist figure 1 On the right side of , the system 1 is shown in section orthogonal to it. The system 1 comprises a cylindrical housing 2 with a liquid supply 4 . The liquid supply part 4 can supply the liquid including the particles 9 to the case 2 . Part of the housing 2 is designed as a filter element 3 . The filter element 3 is designed to filter these particles out of the liquid when the liquid 9 flows out of the housing 2 through the filter element 3 . A space 5 bounded by the housing 2 and the movable element 10 is formed in the housing 2 . The movable element 10 is configured as a piston and can reciprocate in the longitudinal direction of the system 1 (see figure 1 arrow in ). Furthermore, the system 1 has a further opening 6 (dis...

Abstract

A system for filtering a liquid, in particular for a water-conducting household appliance, is provided. The system comprises: a housing having at least one movable element in its interior, the movable element defining, with the housing, at least one substantially fluid-tight space; a liquid supply configured for supplying liquid to the at least one space. At least a portion of the housing is configured as a filter element such that liquid can be drained from the at least one space via a filter surface of the filter element. The filter element is configured for filtering particles from a liquid. The filter surface of the filter element is variable by means of the at least one movable element, such that the filter surface of the filter element for use with a liquid can be changed by means of the at least one movable element, in particular with respect to the position and / or size of the filter surface. The water-conducting household appliance having the system and a method for filtering a liquid are also provided.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a system for filtering liquids, a water-conducting household appliance having the system and a method for filtering liquids. Background technique [0002] In water-conducting domestic appliances, filters are often used, by means of which certain particles are filtered out of the liquid flow according to their size. These filters are used, for example, to filter incoming water into water-conducting domestic appliances or to filter waste water from water-conducting domestic appliances. Such filters are also used to filter liquids that circulate in circuits inside water-conducting household appliances. Here, for example, microplastic particles can be filtered out of the liquid. In these applications, so-called dead-end-Filtration is used, in which the filtered particles remain on the surface of the filter. However, there is a risk that the filter will be clogged quickly and prematurely by the filtered particles. As a result, t...
