The device 10 includes a frame 12 defining an opening 14. The device 10 is shown placed on a floor, and defines a step area 16 through the opening. The frame 12 separates the step area 16 from a first region 18 of the floor. The frame 12 has a substantially rectangular shape, with dimensions of 60 cm by 75 cm. The frame comprises a plurality of side portions 20 which join corners 22. In this embodiment, the corners 22 are rounded.

Abstract

A portable fitness device is described comprising a frame, and an opening defined by the frame. The device is configured to be placed on a surface such that the opening defines a step area, which may be a part of the surface, and the frame separates the step area from a first region of the surface. The opening is configured to enable a user to step through the opening between the step area and the first region of the surface. In a preferred embodiment the device is height adjustable. Methods of use are also described. The device facilitates a range of exercise routines suitable for individuals with varying levels of fitness.

In one particular embodiment, the device comprises a rectangular or square frame which the individual steps in and out of during the aerobic exercise routine.
