Benefits of technology

The present invention provides a display package that can hold an article securely and evenly distributed. The package is made by folding a sheet and is free-standing.

Problems solved by technology

Presentation of such a board packaging is typically limited to hanging on a peg hook.
Such solution has the drawback of being visually unattractive.
The container is not capable of carrying an article that, due to being heavy, of irregular shape, or of certain weight distribution, is unstable at its preferred display orientation.
For certain articles, Gardena GmbH's packaging may not be suitable.

first embodiment

[0029]FIGS. 2 through 4 pertain to a first embodiment of the invention. The display package 100 is formed by folding one unitary material; at least one first article 60 is configured irregularly and is hold well by the display package 100 according to the present invention, and is able to completely demonstrate the article's feature that interests the consumers while the display package 100 either is suspended on the peg hook or free stands on a shelf. The display package 100 includes a back board 10, a face structure 20 defining at least three face panels 21˜23, an accommodating reception 30, a tab panel 24, at least one binding member 50. The back board 10 defines a support panel 11, a back panel 12 folding over the support panel via a first fold line 13, which is formed between the support panel 11 and the back panel 12. Each of the support panel 11 and the back panel 12 at least defines a top edge, a bottom edge opposite to the top edge, and two lateral edges thereof The two top...

second embodiment

[0043]FIGS. 5 through 6 pertain to a second embodiment of the invention. A tab panel 24a specifically extends from the face panel 23 connecting one of the lateral edges of the support panel 11. The tab panel 24a folds along a second fold line 25a set between the face panel 23 and the tab panel 24a. An accommodating reception 30a is defined and circumstanced by the support panel 11, the face panels 21˜23 and the tab panel 25a for accommodating a first article (not shown), and the tab panel 24a is formed with an aperture 26 for accommodating a second article (not shown).

third embodiment

[0044]FIGS. 7 through 9 pertain to a third embodiment of the invention. A first tab panel 271 specifically extends from the face panel 22 via one of the second fold lines (second fold line 251), and a second tab panel 272 extends from the face panel 22 via another one of the second fold lines (second fold line 252). The second tab panel 272 has an aperture 26c formed thereon. The first tab panel 271 folds along the second fold line 251 and free sways in the accommodating reception 30c for accommodating a first article 61. The second tab panel 272 folds along the second fold line 252; a second article 62 is accommodated and restrained by the aperture 26b. For substantial description, the first tab panels 271, 272 are the subtabs belongs to a generic tab panel 27. For substantial description, the first tab panel 271 and the second tab panel 272 are the subtabs belongs to a generic tab panel 27.

Abstract

A display package, formed by folding a sheet for demonstrating an article, includes a back board, at least three face panels, an accommodating reception, a tab panel, and at least one binding member. The back board defines a back panel, a support panel, and a first fold line formed therebetween. The three face panels foldably connect together along lateral edges thereof, and two of the face panels foldably respectively connect each lateral edges of the support panel. The tab panel extends from one of the face panels by a second fold line formed on the respective face panel. The binding member is provided for restraining the article, and fastened to the back board while holding the first article. It allows great hold and weight capacity at the same time, and offer better arrangement of the article for meeting visual consumer behavior.

Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION[0001]1. Field of the Invention[0002]The present invention relates to a package, and specifically relates to a type of display package by folding material.[0003]2. Description of the Related Art[0004]For display packaging, it is well-known to fasten an article onto a board with one or more binding members. Presentation of such a board packaging is typically limited to hanging on a peg hook.[0005]For more flexible in-store presentation, the board packaging may include a support to become freestanding. A typical solution is to attach a second board to the backer board. The second board is folded to form a face panel and two side panels. The side panels are attached to the two lateral edges of the backer board by adhesive or staples. Such solution has the drawback of being visually unattractive.[0006]Taiwan Utility No. M326924, titled “Product packaging box with displaying and hanging function”, discloses a display container which is constructed from one unit...
