WTRU power saving associated with idle mode

Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are described herein for wireless transmit / receive unit (WTRU) power saving (e.g., for idle mode). A WTRU may determine a time window associated with one or more paging indicators. The WTRU may monitor for a paging indicator (e.g., a first paging indicator) in the time window. The WTRU may monitor for another paging indicator (e.g., a second paging indicator) in the time window. The WTRU may receive system information blocks (SIBs) if a wake up indication for the WTRU is received in a single paging indication and the paging indicator is the first paging indicator. The WTRU may monitor for a paging PDCCH at a monitoring occasion of a PO in a paging frame if the second paging indicator is received and includes an indication for the WTRU to wake up.

Access point configured for unavailable advertisement with target wake time (TWT)

An AP operating as a target wakeup time (TWT) scheduling access point (AP) may encode broadcast TWT elements for transmission to advertise a broadcast TWT having one or more broadcast TWT service cycles (SPs). When the broadcast TWT element carries one or more broadcast TWT parameter set fields having a broadcast TWT ID subfield equal to zero, and having a responder power management (PM) mode subfield equal to one, the AP may set an NDP paging indicator / unavailable mode subfield of a control field of the broadcast TWT element to a value of zero to indicate that the AP is unavailable outside of the one or more broadcast TWT SPs, and may set the NDP paging indicator / unavailable mode subfield of the control field of the broadcast TWT element to a value of zero. In addition to other TWT SPs established with or advertised by the AP. The AP may set an NDP paging indicator / unavailable mode subfield of the control field to a value one to indicate that the AP is unavailable outside of one or more broadcast TWT SPs, including during any time that falls within other TWT SPs established with or advertised by the AP.

Dynamic indication of tracking reference signal

Methods, systems, and devices for dynamic indication of tracking references signal (TRS) and wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) that is operating in a first operating mode may receive one or more TRS parameters from a network entity for the UE to perform channel measurements associated with one or more TRSs. The UE may receive a dynamic paging indicator message that indicates a set of updated TRS parameters. The dynamic paging indicator may include at least one TRS parameter that is different from the one or more TRS parameters. The UE may then receive one or more TRSs, and may perform channel measurement in accordance with the set of updated TRS parameters.

Efficient wake-up-signal provision for wireless devices in discontinuous reception

A method, network node and wireless device (WD) for efficient wake up signal provisioning for WDs in discontinuous reception are disclosed. According to one aspect, a method includes at a first paging occasion (PO) in which the network node transmits paging-related downlink control information to a first group of WDs, multiplexing paging indicators related to one or more POs to be monitored by a WD belonging to a second group of WDs.

User equipment assisted early paging indicator clustering

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communications. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may send a subgroup preference indication that indicates a UE preferred subgroup for an early paging indicator (EPI). The UE may receive an EPI subset assignment for the I. Numerous other aspects are also described.

Method and apparatus for transmitting or receiving in-device coexistence-related information in wireless LAN system

Disclosed are a method and apparatus for transmitting or receiving in-device coexistence-related information in a wireless LAN system. The method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises the steps of: receiving, by a first STA from a second STA, a first TWT element comprising at least one broadcast TWT parameter set field, wherein on the basis that an external time of at least one broadcast TWT SP related to the at least one broadcast TWT parameter set field does not belong within another TWT SP, a first NDP paging indicator / unavailable mode subfield value included in the TWT element is set to 0; and on the basis that the external time of the at least one TWT SP belongs within a specific TWT SP, receiving, by the first STA from the second STA, a first frame comprising a second TWT element, wherein a second NDP indicator / unavailable mode subfield value of the second TWT element may be set to 1, and the first frame may comprise information related to an update of an NDP paging / indicator unavailable mode subfield.

Access points configured for unavailability advertisements using Target Wake-Up Time (TWT)

An access point (AP) operating as a Target Wake-Up Time (TWT) scheduling AP encodes a broadcast TWT element to transmit and advertises the broadcast TWT using one or more broadcast TWT service periods (SPs). When a broadcast TWT element carries one or more broadcast TWT parameter set fields with a broadcast TWT ID subfield equal to zero and a responder power management (PM) mode subfield equal to 1, the AP may set the NDP paging indicator / unavailable mode subfield of the control field of the broadcast TWT element to zero to indicate that the AP is unavailable outside of one or more broadcast TWT SPs, except for other TWT SPs set up by or advertised by the AP. The AP may also set the NDP paging indicator / unavailable mode subfield of the control field to 1 to indicate that the AP is unavailable outside of one or more broadcast TWT SPs, including being unavailable during the time within other TWT SPs set up by or advertised by the AP.
