display device and a driving method. The touch
display device includes a touch
driving circuit and a channel switching module. The touch
driving circuit includes multiple touch channels, which are divided into multiple first touch channels and multiple second touch channels. The multiple first touch channels correspond to multiple first
electrode blocks in a first touch area, and the multiple second touch channels correspond to and are connected to multiple second
electrode blocks in a second touch area. The channel switching module is used to connect the corresponding connections between the multiple first touch channels and the multiple first
electrode blocks, and disconnect the connections between the multiple first touch channels and the multiple second touch channels; or, it is used to disconnect the corresponding connections between the multiple first touch channels and the multiple first electrode blocks, and connect the connection between the first touch channel receiving the touch detection
signal and the corresponding second touch channel in the scanning direction. This invention can be used to achieve a high touch
reporting rate in a local area, improving the user experience.
