At least one inductive cell is set on the keyboard area of the portable terminal and an inductive surface is formed. The microprocessor of the portable terminal processes the multidimensional coordinate data generated by the moving track, and make the multidimensional coordinate data to be converted into a cursor that moves on a monitor of the portable terminal, thus controls an item of menu to roll. A key is pressed to select the desired item of menu.
