Abstract

The invention discloses a manufacturing method of a vector numerical map, which comprises the following steps of: dividing the map into a plurality of map blocks, and endowing each map block with a unique identifier; determining all feature points on each map block, which can show map information appearance, and prestoring position information data of the corresponding map block on which the feature points are positioned by taking one map block as a data unit; and making a drawing program for drawing the feature points on map information to form a pattern which is close to the map information appearance to be displayed, and displaying the pattern on a screen of a display terminal. The manufacturing method can overcome the defects of large data volume, slow transmission and the like of the numerical map in the prior art effectively so as to accelerate the display speed of electronic maps and meet the query requirements of users.
