Abstract

The invention relates to an air conditioner capable of inhibiting vibration sound. The box (11) of an outdoor unit (10) is divided into a heat exchange chamber and a machine chamber (B) by a division board. The heat exchange chamber accommodates a heat exchange device and a blower, and the machine chamber (B) accommodates a compressor. Spare valves (37, 38) of a liquid pipe (39) and a gas pipe (40) which are connected with the compressor are supported on a supporting board (36) vertically arranged on a bottom board (21) of a box body (11). A side board (24) of the box body (11) adheres to thesupporting board (36) and is fixed by a screw, wherein protrusions (45, 46) are arranged at the screw fixation parts of the supporting board (36) or the side board (24), and the supporting board (36)are contacted with the side board (24) by the protrusions (45, 46).
