Abstract

The invention relates to a pyridaben- and clothianidin-containing pesticide composition for preventing and controlling psylla chinensis, namely a composition of wettable powder, a suspending agent and water dispersible granules prepared from the pyridaben, the clothianidin and auxiliaries such as a wetting agent, a disperser, a filler and the like, and a method for preventing and controlling the psylla chinensis by using the pyridaben- and clothianidin-containing composition. The pyridaben and the clothianidin are mixed according to a ratio of 1:2-2:1 and the mixture is particularly effective on adults and nymphs of the psylla chinensis. The pyridaben- and clothianidin-containing pesticide composition can be used for preventing and controlling the psylla chinensis for pears, also can be widely used for preventing and controlling bemisia tabaci gennadius, aphid and nilaparvata lugens for vegetables, cotton and rice, and has high application value and remarkable economic and social benefits.
