The method comprises the following steps: obtaining a plurality of pressure values of the cuff at a plurality of time points; calculating a first inflation rate parameter according to the plurality of pressure values, a plurality of target pressure values of the cuff at the plurality of time points and a plurality of inflation rate parameters corresponding to the time interval between every two adjacent time points in the plurality of time points; and inflating the cuff at a rate corresponding to the first inflation rate parameter from the last time point in the plurality of time points to a first time point after the plurality of time points. In such a way, when the target pressure values of the cuff at the different time points uniformly change, the uniform inflation to the cuff can be realized, thereby reducing or avoiding overpressure or too slow inflation.
