Abstract

The invention provides a method and a system for sending a measuring reference signal. The method comprises the following steps: issuing configuration information sending a survey reference signal (SRS) to a user by a base station, wherein the configuration information comprises precoding enabling indication information used for indicting whether the SRS is precoded or not; receiving configuration information by a user terminal; when the precoding enabling indication information indicates and enables, precoding the SRS to be sent and sending a precoded SRS to the base station by the user terminal; and when the precoding enabling indication information does not indicate and enable, sending the SRS which is not precoded to the base station. According to the technical means provided by the invention, the technical problems of insufficient user multiplexing capacity of the SRS in the relevant technology is solved so as to save SRS resource and effectively improve the SRS resource use rate, thereby improving the user multiplexing capacity of the SRS.
