Problems solved by technology

[0014] One situation is: when the target base station finds that the UE is establishing a GBR service, it needs to implement access control according to GBR, and since the actual throughput of the UE in the source cell is not considered in this access control process, here The Throughput can also be understood as traffic. Therefore, if the actual throughput of the UE exceeds the GBR, the target base station can only implement access control according to the GBR and allocate resources for the UE. The resulting problem is: the service rate of the UE after handover It is greatly reduced, which affects the user experience; another situation is: if the target base station finds that the UE has established a non-GBR service, because the target base station does not consider the actual throughput of the UE in the source cell and implements access control, the resulting problem is : Too many or too few resources are allocated or reserved for the UE. When too many resources are allocated to the UE, resources will be wasted, and too few resources are allocated to the UE. The service rate of the UE will be greatly reduced after handover , will also affect the user experience
In short, when implementing access control in the prior art, since the actual throughput of the UE in the source cell is not considered, access control cannot be performed according to the actual service requirements of the UE, thereby affecting user experience

Embodiment 1

[0070] In the LTE system, there is an X2 interface between base station 1 and base station 2, and the cells (Cell 1 and Cell 2) under the jurisdiction of base station 1 and the cells under the jurisdiction of base station 2 (Cell 3 and Cell 4) are neighbors. Base station 1 and base station 2 are any two base stations in the LTE system.

[0071] The UE is in the connected state in Cell 1 (serving cell, or source cell). The radio access bearer E-RAB established by the UE is a GBR service. The maximum bit rate of the row is 800kbps.

[0072] The UE performs measurement in Cell 1 according to the measurement configuration sent by base station 1, and reports the measurement objects that meet the reporting conditions. At a certain moment, UE reports to base station 1 that the signal quality of adjacent cells (Cell 3 and Cell 4) is higher than that of the serving cell (Cell 1) by a predetermined offset, and base station 1 makes a handover after receiving the measurement report deci...

Embodiment 2

[0086] In the LTE system, there is no X2 interface between base station 1 and base station 2, and the cells under the jurisdiction of base station 1 (Cell1 and Cell 2) and the cells under the jurisdiction of base station 2 (Cell 3 and Cell 4) are neighbors. Base station 1 and base station 2 are any two base stations in the LTE system, and both base stations are connected to the core network.

[0087] The UE is in a connected state in Cell 1 (serving cell, or source cell), and the radio access bearer E-RAB established by the UE is a non-GBR service.

[0088] The UE performs measurement in Cell 1 according to the measurement configuration sent by base station 1, and reports the measurement objects that meet the reporting conditions. At a certain moment, UE reports to base station 1 that the signal quality of adjacent cells (Cell 3 and Cell 4) is higher than that of the serving cell (Cell 1) by a predetermined offset, and base station 1 makes a handover after receiving the measur...

Embodiment 3

[0105] In the LTE system, there is an X2 interface between base station 1 and base station 2, and the cells under the jurisdiction of base station 1 (Cell 1 and Cell 2) and the cells under the jurisdiction of base station 2 (Cell 3, Cell 4 and Cell 5) are neighbors. Base station 1 and base station 2 are any two base stations in the LTE system.

[0106] The UE is in the connected state in Cell 1 (serving cell, or source cell). The radio access bearer E-RAB established by the UE is a GBR service. The maximum bit rate for both lines is 900kbps.

[0107] The UE performs measurement in Cell 1 according to the measurement configuration sent by base station 1, and reports the measurement objects that meet the reporting conditions. At a certain moment, the UE reports to base station 1 that the signal quality of neighboring cells (Cell 3, Cell 4, and Cell 5) is higher than that of the serving cell (Cell 1) by a predetermined offset. After base station 1 receives the measurement report...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for access control in handover. The method comprises that: a source network side transmits handover signaling to a target network side, wherein the handover signaling comprises the throughput of user equipment in a source cell; and after receiving the handover signaling, the target network side executes the access control according to the throughput of the user equipment in the source cell or a quality of service parameter of a radio access bearer. The invention also discloses a system for the access control in the handover. The system comprises an access control unit, wherein the access control unit is used for executing the access control according to the throughput of the user equipment in the source cell or the quality of service parameter of the radio access bearer under the condition of receiving the handover signaling from the source network side by the target network side; and the throughput of the user equipment in the source cell is carried in the handover signaling. By the method and the system provided by the invention, the access control can be performed according to the actual service needs of the user equipment (UE), thereby avoiding influence on the experiences of a user.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the control technology at the time of handover, in particular to an access control method and system at the time of handover. Background technique [0002] In a mobile communication system, in order to meet the mobility requirements, after the user equipment (UE, UserEquipment) establishes a connection with the network in the serving cell, that is, the source cell, the UE still needs to measure the signal quality of its serving cell and neighboring cells, so that Select a more suitable cell for handover. During the handover process, the target cell needs to implement access control for the UE. If resources permit, the UE's handover request is allowed. The specific handover process is as follows: figure 1 As shown, the Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network (EUTRAN, Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network) is taken here as an example, figure 1 The switching process includes the following steps: ...
