Embodiment Construction

[0023] The three-dimensional sound device according to the embodiment of the present invention can be applied in a small space such as a car cabin where reflected sound or inaudible sound tends to occur. The three-dimensional sound apparatus includes the following: a reproduced use sound source section 4 that stores a binaural recording with two channels recorded using a microphone 3 having a left simulation of the dummy head 1 respectively placed on the head of the simulated human body left microphone unit 3L and right microphone unit 3R at the ear and right artificial ears 2L, 2R;

[0024] The binaural recording (recorded product) stored in the sound source section 4 is obtained by applying ultrasonic modulation to audible sound to obtain an ultrasonically modulated sound and supplying the generated ultrasonically modulated sound from the recording using the ultrasonic speaker 6 to Emulated head 1 to record for recording. Furthermore, the artificial head 1 for binaural reco...

Abstract

Binaural recording stored in a reproducing-use sound source portion (4) is recorded by giving an ultrasonic modulated sound from a recording-use ultrasonic wave speaker (6) to a dummy head (1). A cross talk is suppressed; thus, the binaural recording is obtained with clear sonic localization information while localization of pronunciation orientation can be improved. Further, the sounds generated by ultrasonic modulating the binaural recording in the reproducing-use sound source portion are given towards left and right ears of a driver from left and right reproducing-use ultrasonic wave speaker units (7L, 7R), respectively, arranged at positions distant from the head of the driver. Sonic 3D information relative to the localization of pronunciation orientation is given accurately to the ears of the driver. Even in a vehicle compartment tending to provide reflected sounds or muffled sounds, an accurate sonic localization can be achieved without a headphone.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a three-dimensional sound device that provides three-dimensional positioning of sound waves to a user using a left speaker unit and a right speaker unit (two-channel speakers). The three-dimensional positioning of sound waves realizes "front / back", "front / back and left / right" or "front / back, left / right and up / down" localization (ie, specified position) of sound. Background technique [0002] [Patent Document 1] JP H5-153687A [0003] There is a known technique of "binaural recording+earphone reproduction" in a three-dimensional sound device that provides a user with three-dimensional localization of sound waves using both the left speaker unit and the right speaker unit (see Patent Document 1). The binaural recording is recorded by arranging the left and right microphone units to the left and right artificial ears of the dummy head, respectively. The recorded binaural recording (recording product) is reproduced direct...
