A
system comprising
sound wave sensors for
high fidelity sound wave detection from any 3D directions and identification of 3D coordinates of
sound sources, means to separate the sound emanations of each sound source with good to
high fidelity, and means to reconstruct
sound sources with good to
high fidelity generally including its lobal patterns. The
system enables microphones systems capable of detecting sound with substantially high
linearity in
frequency response, sensitivity, and directionality, combined with any desired form of volumetric sensing such as spherical, hemispherical, conic and so forth, including multiple defined lobes, or selecting any desired volume and shape.
Sound wave sensors can comprise a multitude or combinations of
system means such as sound beams, levitated bubble interactions, tethered bubble interactions, fibre interactions,
laser interferometry, RF tuned circuit techniques, and so forth, wherein all such methods ultimately employ a form of bidirectional sound sensing means.
