Embodiment Construction

[0045] In order to make the object, technical solution and advantages of the present invention more clear, the present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and embodiments. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described here are only used to explain the present invention, not to limit the present invention.

[0046] The present invention analyzes and studies the problems raised by the background technology and obtains solutions.

[0047] 1. Problem analysis

[0048] Three types of frames are defined in the H.264 protocol. A fully encoded frame is called an I frame. A frame that only contains coded differences generated by referring to the previous I frame is called a P frame. A frame encoded by referring to the preceding and following frames is called a B frame. In H.264, images are organized in units of sequences. A sequence is a data stream after encoding an image, starting with an I frame and endin...

Abstract

The invention relates to a video coding device and method applicable to a low-bandwidth wireless communication channel. The device comprises a transmitting terminal module and a receiving terminal module; the transmitting terminal module comprises fiver submodules, including a video collection submodule, a video compression submodule, a first I frame data judgment submodule, an RS (reed-solomon) coding submodule as well as a network transmitting submodule; the receiving terminal module comprises five submodules including a network receiving submodule, a second I frame data judgment submodule, an RS decoding submodule, a video recovery submodule and a video display submodule; when the first I frame data judgment submodule judges that the current compression code stream is I frame data, the RS coding submodule performs forward error correction coding for an I frame in the compression code stream before transmitting, so as to recover the complete I frame; and when the second I frame data judgment submodule judges that the current compression frame data is I frame data, and when the RS decoding submodule decodes an IDR image, a reference frame queue is cleared immediately, all decoded data is output or abandoned, a parameter set is found again, and a new sequence is started up. The invention also relates to a coding method of the device.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a video signal processing device and its processing method, in particular to a video encoding device and its encoding method suitable for wireless communication channels with low bandwidth and high bit error rate. Background technique [0002] In order to meet the specific needs in the field, data exchange needs to be completed through wireless ad hoc networks. Typical ad hoc networks include Sub-GHz wireless switching networks, etc. The channel bandwidth of this type of network is usually low and the transmission error rate is high, which can meet the requirements of general text information. However, there are obvious defects in the transmission of video data, which are mainly reflected in 1) high error rate, resulting in high packet loss rate, and the video receiving end cannot reconstruct most frames; 3) all video data is processed by forward error correction code , but limited by the low bandwidth, the frame rate o...
