The invention provides a floor type air conditioner which comprises a housing, a heat exchanger, an air outlet frame, a water collecting tray and a water outlet pipe, wherein the housing is provided with a front panel; the heat exchanger and the air outlet frame are arranged at the upper part in the housing; the water collecting tray is arranged at the bottom of the heat exchanger and used for collecting and discharging condensation water flowing down from the heat exchanger; the air outlet frame is mounted on an air outlet side of the heat exchanger; a water receiving tray is arranged at the lower part of the air outlet frame, and positioned between the heat exchanger and the front panel of the housing; the water receiving tray is higher than the water collecting tray; a first end of the water outlet pipe is connected with the water collecting tray; and a second end of the water outlet pipe is connected with the water collecting tray. The condensation water on the air outlet frame and air guide blades flows into the water receiving tray, and then flows to the water collecting tray through the water outlet pipe, so that a situation that a floor is wet and slippery due to the fact that the condensation water on the air outlet frame and the air guide blades flows to the floor is avoided.
