A remote multimedia network transmission platform comprises an SIP signaling scheduling server, a streaming media fowarding server, distributed ICE middleware and a distributed storage and analysis system based on Hadoop multimedia data. The SIP signaling scheduling server is in communication with the streaming media fowarding server through the distributed ICE middleware. The streaming media fowarding server is used for receiving and distributing streaming media data. The distributed storage and analysis system based on the Hadoop multimedia data is used for storing the multimedia data which are saved and uploaded by the streaming media fowarding server. The distributed storage and analysis system comprises a MapReduce distributed processing engine, and is used for realizing distributed transcoding processing on multimedia data stored in a HDFS, namely, format conversion on the multimedia data based on an ffmpeg.
