The mutual information forwarding relay transmission method based on unitary space-time modulation comprises the following steps that in a parallel relay multi-antenna network with all nodes not knowing channel state information, a source node sends unitary space-time symbols to each relay node for communication; the relay nodes process received signals correspondingly, and the relay nodes forward soft signals combining hard decision signals and a mutual information value to a destination node and provide soft information for decoding of the destination node; based on a signal orthogonal decomposition principle, source signals in the signals received by the destination node are distinguished from non-correlated noise signals, and the power ratio of the source signals and the non-correlated noise signals is the general signal-to-noise ratio of the destination node.
