Abstract

An advertisement shielding system for a smart television comprises an advertisement calibration module, a video detection module and a broadcast control module, wherein the advertisement calibration module is used for calibrating advertisement videos according to external signals and recording advertisement video content and advertisement duration; the video detection module is used for detecting whether currently received videos are the calibrated advertisement videos and outputting prestored favorable content list information and advertisement duration if the currently received videos are the calibrated advertisement videos; the broadcast control module is used for switching to favorable content according to the favorable content list information when the currently received videos are the calibrated advertisement videos and sending a channel return request if advertising is ended. The invention further provides an advertisement shielding method for the smart television. The advertisement shielding system and method are easy and convenient to operate, and a user can make the television return to the channel where a program is broadcasted in time according to a channel switching request.
