An earphone control system comprises a processor, a storage module, a manual control module, a positioning module and a switching module, wherein the storage module stores map data, data of a place which is labeled and needs attention, and automatic control information; the switching module is used to switch play sound channels of an earphone; the earphone control system switches the play sound channels of the earphone by manual operation by utilizing the manual control module; or the earphone control system uses the positioning module to position a portable electronic device, and when the portable electronic device is positioned in the place which is labeled and needs attention, the positioning module transmits the automatic control information stored in the storage module to the processor, and the processor transmits a control signal to the switching module to switch the play sound channel of the earphone according to the automatic control information. The invention also provides the portable electronic device which uses the earphone control system.
