Abstract

The invention discloses a picture uploading method and apparatus for uploading a TGA (Tagged Graphics) picture into a subtitle template so as to enable a user to obtain more information when watching a multimedia. The method comprises the steps of: obtaining the to-be-uploaded TGA picture; converting the TGA picture into a PNG (Portable Network Graphics) picture; and uploading the PNG picture into the subtitle template, wherein the subtitle template comprises at least one of a plug-in list, a display frame and an editor. According to the technical scheme, the problem of incapability of uploading the TGA picture into the subtitle template is solved, so that the user can obtain more picture information when watching the multimedia with subtitles, and the user experience is improved.
