Abstract

The invention relates to a content management system. Provided is a content management method including receiving content from one or more content providers, the content including a set of data elements related to respective types, and for each data element: if the data element is of a standard type, creating a data element record in a standard recorded data structure, the record including a public record identifier and a data value corresponding to the data element; and if the data element is of a non-standard type, generating a non-standard data container for the data element, and creating a data element record in a non-standard recorded data structure, the record including a public record identifier and a data value corresponding to the data element. The content management method further comprises the management of access to records maintained in the extended records data structure based on the public record identifiers.
