An out-of-date displayed data labelling method, device, client and server, for enabling the out-of-date data displayed on a client interface to be automatically distinguished from the not-out-of-date data, thus improving information security of network information and privacy information. The out-of-date displayed data labelling method comprises: detecting the update operation of an application interface (S11); after the update operation, starting the timer for the data displayed on the application interface (S12); and labelling the application interface as out of date when the timer has reached a preset expiration time (S13), such that the out-of-date application interface is distinguished from the not-out-of-date application interface.
