The discharging current hardware protection circuit comprises a signal sampling unit used for sampling the load current of the electric vehicle, and converting the sampling current into a sampling voltage to output; a detection unit used for outputting a high-level signal when the detected sampling voltage achieves a preset threshold value; and a hardware protection unit used for cutting off the connection between the lithium battery group and the vehicle load after the high-level signal is detected. According to the discharging current hardware protection circuit, when the lithium battery group of the vehicle is in short-circuit or overcurrent states, the hardware protection unit can response in time to automatically cut off the connection between the lithium battery group and the vehicle load; furthermore, due to the introduction of positive feedback to the detection unit, the output signal is relatively stable; in case that the detection unit determines that the lithium battery is in abnormal, the high level is output; even if the current fluctuation is not affected; the output signal is kept the same; and the output signal can be changed only by adopting software for unlocking.
