Abstract

The invention discloses a mobile terminal, which is applied to dual-channel-based communication. The mobile terminal comprises a first mobile communication system and a second mobile communication system which is connected with the first mobile communication system through a universal serial bus, wherein the first mobile communication system is used for sending an upgrade instruction to the second mobile communication system during acquisition of an upgrade package; the second mobile communication system is used for receiving the upgrade instruction and sharing a storage region to the first mobile communication system according to the upgrade instruction; the first mobile communication system is also used for receiving the storage region, and sharing the upgrade package to the second mobile communication system through the storage region; and the second mobile communication system is also used for receiving the upgrade package, and performing upgrading according to the upgrade package. The invention also discloses a system upgrade method. Through adoption of the mobile terminal and the system upgrade method, the problem of upgrade of a dual-card terminal using a 4G network is solved.
