Abstract

The fingerprint identification unit comprises a switch unit, driving unit and a capacitor graph which are all connected to a node. The switch unit is connected with a gate line and a data line. The driving unit is connected with a signal input line and a signal output line. When a finger is not pressed, the switch unit is turned on under the control of a gate signal output by the gate line, and the data line charges the node through the turned-on switch unit. When the finger is pressed, the signal input line inputs a driving signal to the driving unit, and the driving unit outputs a reading signal through the signal output line under the control of a voltage of the node, wherein the reading signal is used for identifying a fingerprint generated by pressing the finger. According to the fingerprint identification unit, the driving method, the display substrate and the display apparatus, the fingerprint identification of the whole screen in the display apparatus is realized; and the same process as the internal structure of the display substrate is adopted to perform manufacturing, so that the cost is reduced.
