The invention discloses a partial updating method and a partial updating system for a webpage. The partial updating method comprises the following steps: comparing card markers which are based on a server and used for updating all current navigation cards of the webpage with card markers for forming all the navigation cards of the webpage, and acquiring navigation cards needing to be updated; then, sending a data acquiring request for card content of the navigation cards needing to be updated to the server so as to obtain the card content of the navigation cards needing to be updated; and replacing card content of original navigation cards by utilizing the card content of the navigation cards needing to be updated, so as to realize partial updating of the webpage. When partial updating is realized, the partial updating can be realized only if the card content of the corresponding original navigation cards is replaced with the card content of the navigation cards needing to be updated; and a partial updating scheme of the webpage only needs to update one part in the webpage, and therefore, an updating process is rapid and needed calculation cost is low, so that the updating efficiency of the webpage is much greater than existing whole updating of the webpage.
