Abstract

The invention discloses a touch screen scanning method and apparatus. The method comprises the steps of determining a historical touch point of a touch operation in a touch screen; outwards extending the historical touch point for a set length according to a preset basic scanning direction to form a reference region; performing scanning according to the basic scanning direction in a scanning period, and determining a quasi touch region of the touch operation; removing false touch regions according to the position of the quasi touch region relative to the reference region, and locating a true touch region; and determining a touch point position, corresponding to the touch operation in the scanning period, in the true touch region through scanning of other scanning directions in the scanning period. Before scanning of other scanning directions, part of the false touch regions are removed, then the closer false touch regions in the reference region are further removed according to other scanning directions, and finally the touch point position is determined. The number of light paths in the scanning process is greatly reduced, the scanning time is correspondingly shortened, and extra scanning and operation time is shortened.
