Abstract

The invention discloses a preparation method of elastic clay. The preparation method comprises the following steps of (1) sampling a clay sample, and measuring the early cementing pressure pc of the clay sample; (2) saturating the clay sample; (3) putting the saturated clay into a lateral confinementlimiting container, loading the clay by stages, standing after loading of each stage, stabilizing the deformation of the clay sample, and drawing a stress-strain relationship curve of the clay; (4) unloading by stages until all loads are unloaded, standing after unloading of each stage, stabilizing the deformation of the clay sample, and drawing a stress-strain relationship curve of the clay; (5) repeating the steps (3) and (4), until the reloading curve in the stress-strain relationship curve of the clay is approximate to one straight line, so as to obtain the elastic clay. The elastic clay prepared by the preparation method has the advantages that when the elastic clay is used for the theoretical study of soil mechanics, the experiment result is successfully consistent with the theory, so as to obtain more accurate experiment structure, namely mutual demonstration of experiment and theory; the experiment accuracy is improved.
