The method which is applied to management nodes includes: sending configuration information to at least one corresponding cluster node, and starting timing; determining whether a response instruction sent by each cluster node is received or not before timing reaches a preset time threshold, wherein each response instruction is used for indicating that the corresponding cluster node receives the configuration information; if not, sending a quit instruction to each cluster node so as to make each cluster node which receives the abandoning instruction give up the configuration; if yes, sending a submitting instruction to each cluster node so as to make the at least one cluster node which receives the submitting instruction start configuration according to the configuration information. By adoption of the scheme, configuration uniformity of the cluster nodes is realized.
