Embodiment 1

[0027] The Shaobo Chicken, a local breed of chicken, was selected, with conventional nutritional levels, environmental conditions and feeding management measures, free to eat, and reared in a single cage during the laying period. The growth and development rules of the breed based on the largest number of eggs were obtained through the following steps.

[0028] 1. Select 1,000 or more healthy female chicks, wear a wing number, weigh the birth weight and record the corresponding wing number.

[0029] 2. Measure the average food consumption of the group every week at the age of 1-18 weeks, measure the body weight of each individual at the end of each age and record the corresponding wing number; measure the food consumption of each individual at the age of 19-66 weeks; Measure the body weight of the individual at the end of two weeks and record the corresponding wing number, and measure the body weight of the individual at the end of every four weeks at the age of 33-66 weeks and...

Embodiment 2

[0042] The Xianju chicken, a local chicken breed, was selected, with conventional nutritional levels, environmental conditions and feeding management measures, free to eat, and reared in a single cage during the laying period. The growth and development rules of the breed based on the largest number of eggs were obtained through the following steps.

[0043] 1. Select 1,000 or more healthy female chicks, wear a wing number, weigh the birth weight and record the corresponding wing number.

Embodiment 3

[0057] The local chicken breed Langshan chicken was selected, the conventional nutritional level, environmental conditions and feeding management measures were taken ad libitum, and the egg-laying period was reared in a single cage. The growth and development law of the breed based on the largest number of eggs was obtained through the following steps.

[0058] 1. Select 1,000 or more healthy female chicks, wear a wing number, weigh the birth weight and record the corresponding wing number.

Abstract

The invention relates to a study method for a growth-development rule based on local chicks with the maximum laying quantity. The method comprises the following steps of (1) selecting healthy female chicks, tying tags with wing numbers to the female chicks, weighing the female chicks to obtain the initially born weight of every female chick, and recording the corresponding wing number; (2) testing the average feed consumption quantity for the whole chick flock every week, measuring the weight and the shin length of every chick at the age end of every week during 1st-18th weeks, testing the individual feed consumption every week during 19th-66th weeks, measuring the individual weight at the end of every two weeks during 19th-32nd weeks, measuring the individual weight at the end of every four weeks during 33rd-66th weeks, testing the first-egg day age, the first egg weight, the chick weight when laying the first egg, the laying quantity of every week age and the average egg weight of every chick, and counting the laying quantity of every chick from the first egg day to 66th week; (3) selecting individual chicks which have larger laying quantity than any other chicks, counting the average weight and the average feed consumption quantity of the tested week age for the selected chicks, and obtaining the growth-development rule; (4) feeding the chicks according to the results obtained in the step (3). During confirmation, hens are fed by means of the growth-development rule obtained through the study method, and results indicate that the average laying rate of the fed chicks is improved by about 8%, and the economic benefit is greatly improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of poultry production, and in particular relates to a research method based on the growth and development law of local chickens that lay the largest number of eggs. Background technique [0002] Growth is a process in which the body accumulates substances through assimilation, increases the number of cells, and increases the volume of tissues and organs, thereby increasing the body size and weight of the individual. Development is the development and transformation of growth. When a certain type of cell divides to a certain stage or a certain number, it will differentiate to produce cells that are different from the original cells, and form new cells and tissues and organs on this basis. Growth and development are complex physiological processes that are interrelated and mutually reinforcing in the same life phenomenon. [0003] To study the growth and development laws of specific varieties, we can use the ...
